Barlow, priced at 8s.6d. Typographic bookplate of bibliophile and Forester collector Trevor Hickman to endpaper. Book is near fine; jacket is very good with a few small chips and tears. A clash-of-cultures historical novel set in nineteenth century colonial central Africa, concerning a remote tribe whose way of life is disturbed by European imperialists, Middle eastern explorers, and rival native inhabitants.
