First edition, first printing. Published by Weidenfeld and Nicolson in London, 1958. This is a good copy (or better). The dust wrapper has some major handling marks throughout and some major chips and tears to match. These tears are at the top edge to the front and rear panels. The spine is sunned and darkened. It has been price clipped. The book is very near fine and with only slight toning at the spine tips. It is free from previous owners ink and the text blocks are mostly clean throughout. Overall, this is a good (or better) copy. Contributors include: Salvador Dali, William Plomer, Cecil Beaton, Anthony Hobson, Harold Nicolson and many more. Seller Inventory # 15799
