With 75 illustrations in colour from the paintings of A. S. Forrest, and with a folding map at the end of the book. A UK first edition, first impression in the rare wrapper. THE WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright showing negligible wear to the lower edge. The spine has dulled a little and is gently worn at the ends. There is a closed tear running down from the spine corner of the back pane. The back panel is dulled at the edges and lightly creased at the top edge. Looks sharp in protective plastic. THE BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are very bright. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are lightly toned and are flecked. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper. Paypal accepted. Seller Inventory # 012907
