Sm8vo. x, 489pp. Six-panel pastel tinted fold-out map. Embossed "Presentation Copy" on the title page. Very good book, no dust jacket. First impression. Green cloth covered boards with light blue and gilt pictorial illustration stamped on front board panel and spine, both with gilt lettering. Upper edges are gilt. Pastel green and cream illustrated end papers. Frontispiece and three other full-color illustrations with tissue-guards. Numerous additional photos in b&w. Corners at head and tail of board spine and fore-edge corner tips are rubbed. Gutter is cracked at the frontispiece and title page, thus shaken. Internally clean with some foxing on illustrations with tissue guards. Please use close up options for best inspection and in support of condition descriptions.
