Publisher's green cloth with gilt titles to spine, dust-wrapper designed by Martin Pickwick with printed price of 18s. to flap. A near fine copy in a gently used wrapper, toned to spine with a few minor nicks to edges. A swinging 'sixties spy novel. Author Westlake wrote two screen treatments for a James Bond film, which were unused and so developed into the novel 'Forever and a Death'. Part of the comprehensive archive of James Bond material assembled by Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled note and ownership signature.
