Originally published in French. A wordless play in ten scenes; one for mornings, and one for evenings. Following brief introductory passages, this wordless homage to Alfred Hitchcock's Rear window opens in two directions, providing a series of 20 tableaux of a French street scene as it evolves across a single day and night. Includes a multitude of ongoing stories that develop across both sides of the book, allowing readers to witness the lives of single people, couples, and families as well as stories of love, separation, and possibly even murder.
