Featuring Beau and Porgy in 'the dark mountains of Nevada' and 'Lost Canyon Camp, a collection of thirteen shacks that a philanthropist has turned over for the use of actors out of work'. Zola Helen Ross (1912-89) (n e Girdey), was an associate professor of Creative Writing at the University of Washington and co-founder the Pacific Northwest Writers Association with Lucile Saunders McDonald of The Seattle Times. Ross also used the pseudonyms Helen Arre and Bert Iles. First edition, with first edition statement to copyright page. -- Octavo (book size 19.6x13.6cm), pp. 234 [6].
