First edition, first printing. Published by Thornton Butterworth Ltd in London, 1921. This is a near fine copy. The front panel features a beautiful illustration by Lilian A. Govey and is sharp at the corners with slight wear to the bottom of the spine. The rear panel is mostly clean but with one small faint blemish. The internals are clean and mostly free from toning. The text blocks bright and white and without foxing. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in near fine condition. A selection of six stories, each based around a mythical creature. Seller Inventory # 15660
