Ex library copy, with stamps to front cover, and two other leaves, lending card still in front pocket, two labels to spine. Some light soiling and fading to wrappers, generally very good. An interesting dictionary for Personal and Geographical Names for use in Palestine. The dictionary actually contains most of the names of the Arab Colonies in Palestine with their translation into Hebrew and English, as well as first names used in Palestine during those years translated into three languages. "This booklet is published by the authority of the Palestine Government, and the systems of transliteration herein formulated will be followed in all official correspondence and documents, and on signboards, street names, etc., for which the Government and Local Authorities are responsible.".
