One Two Three First Steps Picture Book for Little Folks, pub. Raphael Tuck, n.d. But 1943. 1st ed. Quarto, 240 mm x 180 mm. Black paper with coloured illustrations. Covers with minor creases, short closed tear, chip, couple of small white pencil marks, but overall an excellent example of a rare wartime title for children. On the 29th December 1940 the London headquarters of Raphael Tuck was bombed and destroyed. This title must therefore have been one of the first as the publisher tried to get back on its feet.
