Kettlebone, L.pool Rd 1843'. An extensive account, in 580 pages plus addenda, of the events that led to the violent death of John Lees, a 22-year-old son of a cotton manufacturer. 'This volume will be read with interest, by all who justify and applaud - by all who deprecate and denounce, the proceedings at Manchester on the 16th of August last'.
