Winning with Quality takes you beyond theory into the real-life application of quality concepts and process improvement in product development. This book was written by three practicing engineers and managers of product development, each with extensive hands-on experience making quality and process improvement techniques work for product development. The authors not only explain quality principles, methods, and tools, but also show how they can be applied in your own quality program. Dozens of real-life examples of what works and what doesn't - taken from the authors' wealth of experience - underscore the concepts they discuss.
Everyone involved in the product development process - whether the product is hardware, software, or a whole system - will learn about process management techniques, process re-engineering methods, teaming methods and skills, policy deployment tools, problem-solving tools, concurrent engineering processes, and many other topics.
