About the Author
The late David R Ross was a prolific author and motorcycle historian. Before his tragic passing in January this year, his spare time was spent travelling around historic sites, battlefields and castles exploring the spots where the great and notsogreat Scots of history stood. Passionate about Scottish history he worked to promote it through magazine contributions and regularly appeared on the History and Discovery channels, in the UK and North America. He was particularly interested in Scotlands great leaders and was the convenor of the Society of William Wallace. His Walk for Wallace in 2005 attracted worldwide media attention.
