A beautifully bound copy of the first edition of this collection of poetry by English Romantic poet William Wordsworth. A wonderful first edition of this collection from William Wordsworth, consisting of poems composed during a tour in Scotland, and at the English border, in late 1831.Largely consisting of sonnets, a lengthy postscript helps to explain Wordsworth's collection. With errata leaf and tipped in errata both present, and with two leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear.A wonderful first edition from the man who helped launch the Romantic age in English literature. Rebound in half calf, with marbled paper covered boards, and endpapers renewed. Externally, excellent, with a small number of minor marks to back strip. Internally, firmly bound.
