In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, "archery was revived as a fashionable pastime among the English aristocracy thanks to a nostalgic taste for the gothic and medieval" (Johnes, p. 193). Binding soiled, a little loss to spine ends, head sometime repaired, foxing and faint damp stains to contents: in very good condition.
