The preface notes that the Chronicle of Perth is often referred to as "Mercer's chronicle," from John Mercer, town-clerk of Perth, who appears to have been the possessor of the volume containing it. 19th Century bookplate on front pastedown endpaper with offsetting to front free endpaper, some offsetting from plates to facing blanks, slightly rubbed at extremities otherwise Very Good.
