Family copy, pencil inscription in the author's hand to recto of FFEP: 'Not to be taken away! / For Mummy & Olga / Miksche'. The first British edition of Austrian-born army officer and military theorist Ferdinand Otto Miksche's (1904-1992) monograph on the impact of nuclear weapons on traditional tactical warfare.
