Original hand-coloured steel engraved plan of London (42 x 71 cm) dissected into 21 sections and mounted onto linen, folding between original cloth covers with paper-engraved label. Extends from Islington in the north to Camberwell in the south, Kensington in the west, and Greenwich in the east. Lightly toned and with a few isolated spots, generally very good. Unusual to find this map sold separately in a booklet format as this example, it is normally found bound in the SDUK as part of the atlas volume.
