En feuilles 38 x 36, sur couverture à rabats en rhodoïd imprimé en calligraphie bleu : New York 68. Edition très originale. Parmi 70 exemplaires numérotés et signés par l'artiste sur vélin de Rives à la cuve, l'un des 12 de tête avec une suite des 12 estampes et un dessin original. 12 lithographies originales, certaine dépliantes en diptyque voire triptyque, et 1 dessin de Charles Meystre. Edition bilingue français anglais de ces différents (copieux) textes du photographe, cette fois-ci effacé devant l'épistolier, le premier évoquant les agitations qui ont secoué la capitale en 1968. Quant à l'illustracteur, je comprends qu'il se soit trouvé absorbé par le projet de ce livre, son style d'une élégance très géométrique y faisant judicieusement écho. Bel exemplaire de luxe de cet ouvrage probablement protégé d'un étui costaud (bois et plexi) bricolé par son ex propriétaire.
