Views along the Rhine 12 etched views, trimmed to platemark. In 1632 Hollar took a journey up the Rhine, during which he made drawings of the various towns, villages and landscapes he saw from Cologne to Antwerp. These drawings formed the basis for a series of German views later published in print.
