In good brown leather boards, with gilt decorated edges and gilt crest to front with 'Laborum Praemia' to front; five horizontal raised bands to spine with red title field and gilt titles and gilt decoration. The boards are very tight, straight and quite clean; spine ends and sides a little worn. "The Clevedon Community Co-operative Bookshop Bindery Team: have re-attached the boards and end papers and painted to match and cleaned. The end papers have red, white and green marble pattern and are unmarked. Tiny orange bookseller's sticker from James Thornton, Oxford on front paste down. The text block has shiny gilt cut edges and the pages are printed in two columns. The block is very firm and not tanned or marked. Very good condition. Dedication on a prelim.
