The author, Edna Woolman Chase, was editor of Vogue magazine as her first job and for thirty-eight years, she gathered and entered into the pages of Vogue the fabulous doings of the worlds of fashion and high society not only in the United States, but also in Britain and France. She collaborates with her writer-actress daughter Ilka on this work. Photographs and illustrations are included. This copy is clean and solid. FLAT SIGNED BY BOTH AUTHORS on the FFEP. Jacket is in near fine condition with no chips and is in mylar. Appears to have had little use.
