Farm-raised game is becoming more readily available, and this cookbook shows how to make the most of it. There are good explanations, with recipes, of relevant cooking techniques, and separate chapters on various types of farm-raised game, each featuring one classic preparation and a number of more contemporary dishes, including many recipes from chefs around the country. Game and wine have a natural affinity, and the authors--both are food authorities, associated in different capacities with Fetzer Vineyards--also include (generic) wine suggestions for each dish. More practical than A.J. McClane's A Taste of the Wild ( LJ 8/91), this is recommended for most collections.

CANADA - By ordering more than one book at a time from our collection you will save money on shipping costs. The Canada Post Flat Rate shipping boxes hold up to 11 lbs or 5 Kgs. It costs the same to ship one book as it does 3 or 4 (or more) so Bundle Up, shop with a friend, have some fun! Tracking number and Insurance are included.

USA - Rates are based on packaged books weighing 1 Kg (or 2.2 lbs.) Oversized packaged books may require more postage. Depending on the total weight a second book can be shipped free or half-price. All books are well packaged and have tracking numbers and insurance included.

OVERSEAS - The cost of OverSeas shipping is calculated on an average sized packaged book weighing under 1 Kg. being sent by Air Mail, with a Tracking Number, and Insurance.
