First edition. Octavo, pp 251 + 3 pages at front and 18 pages at rear of commercial advertisements; also endpaper advertisements. Bound in red cloth covered hard boards with gilt lettering to the spine and gilt lettering and decoration to the upper board. SIGNED and Inscribed to the frontispiece tissue-guard: "To Augusta Prescott \ with compliments of Morris Phillips \ New York April 8 1892". Phillips was the editor of the Home Journal in New York and writes here of his experiences travelling and living in London and also Paris, California and parts of Georgia and Florida. With some interesting insight of late 19th century London and Paris hotels and restaurants. Tidy, clean and solidly bound book in Very Good condition.
