First edition. 8vo. pp. xx, 300; coloured and b & w illusts., illusts. to text; very good in contemporary full blue leather, gilt, Hunt's signature in gilt to upper board, somewhat rubbed to extremities, contained in a purpose-made slipcase, with, loosely inserted, a typed letter signed by Hunt on Alpine Club headed paper, to Elsie Upton, and also with the clipped signature of Alf Gregory. Hunt's letter thanks the recipient for writing "to me in connection with the presentation of the Russian Karabiner at the Dinner in North Wales". We have not been able to determine any information concerning the binding.
