Limited edition of 100 copies. Modern half-cloth and marbled boards, gilt spine-title, small 4to, xv, 268, [3] pp, frontispiece, facs. Approximately 190 entries. Todd 424b. A still useful bibliography, with only one item being a Wiseian forgery. Wise returned to the bibliography of Wordsworth in 1927 (Two Lake Poets. A Catalogue of Printed Books, Manuscripts and Autograph Letters by William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge collected by Thomas James Wise) and in his Ashley Library catalogue (1922-1934). Presentation copy inscribed and signed by the author to Roger Ingpen 'from his Sincere Friend Thos. J. Wise' on the half-title, which also has a pencilled date 'Dec. 8, 1916'. One or two minor marks, otherwise Very Good. Roger Edric Ingpen (1867-1936) was variously a literary editor and writer, bookseller and publisher. He is most remembered for his contributions to Shelley scholarship and in 1924 he contributed the introduction to Wise's 'A Shelley Library'. Seller Inventory # ABE-33261
