Publisher's blue cloth lettered in gilt to the spine, formerly the property of the Cunard Shipping Company with their gilt stamp to the middle of the front board. Blind stamp of the Circulating Library of Harrods Limited on the rear paste-down with 2 stamped dates. Very good plus book in similar jacket. This is one of the earliest published accounts of the genesis of what would become the British Broadcasting Corporation. John Reith (1889-1971) is regarded as the founder of the BBC which this year celebrates its centenary. An uncommon title, especially in its jacket.
