Inscribed to the British artist Ruth Gollancz, married to Sir Victor Gollancz; "For Lady Gollancz, with the author's homage, Nov. 1926." Fair condition. General light shelfwear, dusty top-edge, occasional spotting throughout. Stamps for Highgate Library and Scientific Institution at prelims. One of the colour plates has become loose.
