About this Item
First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original grey cloth with silver titles to the spine, in the Pat Marriott designed dustwrapper. Top edge orange. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm. The contents, with a little faint spotting to the text block edges, light offsetting tot the endpapers, the top edge a little faded, are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased original dustwrappers which shows a little dustiness and scuffing. Not price clipped (15s to the front flap). Signed by Ronald Fraser in blue ink on the half title. The fourth title in the author's 'Venus Quartet', a quirky science fiction story in which war veteran Sir Brian Hungerford and his aristocratic friends liaise with strange beings from around the solar system, narrated by Hungerford's butler Troutbeck.
