First UK Edition. SIGNED COPY inscription reads "Janet Stones, With best wishes from the author, David I. Masson. September 1977". Text block edges foxed and a hint of bowing to the boards else VG indeed. The dustwrapper is price-clipped to the front flap but otherwise is a fine example. NB: recently republished by Gollancz as part of their ongoing SF Masterworks series. Collects seven sf stories. One of the cornerstone collections of 1960s sf stories, and the author's only book.
