"This is the story of a hunting, fishing and prospecting trip in the summer of 1871 from a camp on the North Saint Vrain River near Long's Peak, Colorado. It is an exciting story and well told" - Thomas Streeter. OCLC records a dozen copies under two records, ascribed to Joe Addison and Joseph Addison Thatcher. The printed initials, J.A.T., appear under the title on page one. Inscribed on ffep "To Saml. T. Rathvon/ from his friend/ J.A. T./ August 4, 1905." Streeter 4124; OCLC reports a dozen locations in two records. Not in Phillips, Wetzel, Bruns, Riling or Heller Gilt-stamped maroon roan leather, extremities worn with some loss to head of spine, hinges cracked. About very good llustrated with title page photo, decorative initials and 5 text drawings. 23pp. 1 vols. 12mo.
