INSCRIBED FIRST EDITION. Landscape quarto, pp. 619, [1]; [6], 627-1239, [1]. Lavishly illustrated in colour throughout. Maroon cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board, in unclipped pictorial dust-jackets; housed in pictorial folding card slipcase with carrying handle. Clean and tight. "With lots of love from Gilbert and George" boldly inscribed in black ink to each ffep (without dedication), with kisses each side. Slipcase slightly rubbed to edge. Fine copies in like jackets, in Near Fine slipcase. Comprehensive work showcasing the graphic style photo-based artwork of the collaborative duo. Excessively heavyweight: a contribution towards increased postage costs will be required for overseas postage.
