A UK first edition, first impression. SIGNED by the illustrator, Rodger McPhail who has also added an original ink drawing of a bird ( a grouse, I think ). Unique thus. The Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and unclipped. It shows inconsequential bruising to the upper edges. Looks sharp. The Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded. The pages are clean and bright. The closed page edges are unmarked. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. No remainder marks. Rodger McPhail has drawn a grouse on the half title page. An attractive copy in a protected wrapper. Paypal accepted.
