For this adventure in Hawaii, Thompson brought along his long-time collaborator Ralph Steadman, whose accompanying illustrations are more urgent than ever. Steadman called it his favourite project with the Gonzo journalist. This title was originally published as a quarto edition in 1983. This edition is in a larger format with full colour illustrations. Folio. Full-page and double-page illustrations throughout, some in colour, 7 leaves of facsimile letters tipped in. Original illustrated cloth, spine lettered in black.
