FIRST EDITION. Half title, illus. Sl. later half red cloth, marbled paper boards, label of the Norfolk & Norwich Library on front board; spine faded to brown. Book label of the Norfolk & Norwich Library. A nice copy. Loosely inserted is a short autograph letter signed by Brande, dated 16 Jan, '43, declining an invitation due to his giving a lecture at the Royal Institution. Brande was the Professor of Chemistry in the Royal Institution and Professor of Chemistry to the Apothecaries' Company. Printed in two columns. Seller Inventory # 82360
