The Downing Street Years, Thatcher's autobiography of her years as prime minister, was first published by Harper Collins in a trade edition, with this collector's edition, signed by the author and handsomely bound in leather, published the same year. Octavo. Original blue bonded leather, spine lettered in gilt, covers panelled in gilt, pink silk endpapers, gilt edges, yellow silk bookmarker. Publisher's bookplate mounted to the front pastedown, else a fine copy.
