First edition of a classic work by the greatest antiquary of English literature of his time. Bronson I 22; Lowndes p. 2098. Bronson calls for a cancel at F7 in volume II, and this may be so but no stub is visible. (There is, however, another oddity visible in sig. F, which is that F3v is signed 'F4' and there is no signature on F4r.).
