1946[?]. First edition. Presentation copy. Quarto. 29×21cm; [ii],(38)pp. Cream cloth with gilt title on upper board; light general wear with some creasing to corners. Binding square and tight. Light foxing to endpapers, otherwise clean within. Corrections pasted over errors on some pages. Inscribed by the author on front free endpaper; typed letter from author slipped into the front. B/w figures. A presumably self-published, seafaring autobiography by F. Ivan Carr. At the time of printing he was chairman of Carr's Flour Mills Ltd., Carlisle. He recounts his sailing experiences off the West coast of Cumbria and Scotland, including through the period of the Second World War. In the author's accompanying letter he gives a few brief explanations of the writing. Seller Inventory # 013682
