First deluxe edition, eighth impression (Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, 1999). Signed and inscribed by the illustrator with a sketch to the dedication page. Publisher's original green cloth with green endpapers and paste-downs, ribbon marker and lettering to spine and upper board in gilt with pictorial on-lay featuring artwork by Cliff Wright. A fine copy with the slightest traces of rubbing and pushing to corners. Rare to find with a personal inscription and sketch from the illustrator whose artwork played an important role in the visual conceptualisation of the Harry Potter world as it came to be known.
