Rather tatty green hardback binding with light small water marks to covers, discolouring to bottom third of front board with a removed sticker to top front corner. Impressed titles to front board, gilt-coloured titles have faded off spine. Wear with small frays and creases to spine-ends, wear to boards' corners. Flyleaf and half of browned end-paper removed from rear, reference library stamps to outer front board, end-papers and half-title page which has 2 ink stains. Previous owner's name lightly in pencil atop front free endpaper, else the text is wholly unmarked, pristine. Damp-staining and surface wear to base of front board, partially affecting the by-line. Moderate wear and rubbing at the extremities of the boards, with some fraying to the top and base of the spine, as well as the rear spine seam.
