Hand bound by Zaehnsdorf of London in full tan morocco, with gilt titles to green panel to spine and decorative motif in green, gilt and black to upper board; aeg; vivid marbled endpapers in shades of orange and brown. The motif and binding were designed especially for this edition. A Fine copy signed by the Author, without dedication, to limitation leaf. A handsome example of the study of Leonardo da Vinci and his works, by the Scottish journalist and academic (1906-82).
