A near fine copy, the spine a little tanned. Woodcut title page, one full page wood-enrgaved illustation and many smaller decorative engravings in the text. The last book printed by the Chiswick Press at Took's Court, its home for over 100 years. Sandford contributes an interesting postscript, titled 'The Typographer's Jottings', detailing this history and how The Magic Forest sits within it.
