Complete with the original rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper. Not price clipped (10s 6d to the front flap). Signed by Shirley Hughes in black ink to the title page. First edition, first printing. Publisher's original green cloth with silver titles on the spine. With illustrations by Shirley Hughes. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout. Light spotting to the upper and fore-edges of the page block. Small bumps to both spine tips. In the very good dustwrapper with two closed tears (c. 1 cm) with associated creasing to the lower edge of the front panel, and light creasing to the lower edge of the rear panel. Not price-clipped [10s. 6d. net]. A lovely copy. An adventure story about a man named Niall and his brother Ruairidh who were on their mission to find out the unknown thief on the island of Skye.
