Endpapers foxed otherwise a clean copy in wrapper that lacks small portion to front cover. Lorna Hill was married to the vicar at Matfen Church, Matfen, Northumberland. Mrs. Jean/Jane Harrison, a local farmer's wife, attended this church and became a friend to Lorna, as did Jane's daughter Elsie.
