Inscribed by its editor on the front endpaper, "11/17/87 To Steve Miller! 'Modern' stuff is now almost 45 years old! All Best Sam Moskowitz". On its copyright page is "FIRST EDITION", "Copyright © 1965", LCCN 65-18008, and "HC166", with publisher's original "$6.00" price on its jacket's front flap. This 59 year old book is still in very good condition, marred only by light wear on its covers' bottom edges, plus light bumps on its covers' top corners and spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its front and spine. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is also in very good condition, bright and whole, marred only by light wear on the ends of its spine and flap folds, with some faint soiling along its back flap fold, but otherwise unmarked and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description. …

Shipping terms
- Items will be carefully packaged to assure they arrive as described.
- All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
- My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
- There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
