First edition, first impression (Hutchinson & Co Ltd, 1972). Signed and dated by the author to the title page. The author's third book, adapted into a film of the same name in 1974. Publisher's original black cloth with silver lettering to spine. Near fine with a little toning to edges with a few very faint white marks to lower board. The original and unclipped dust jacket is also in near fine condition with a little spotting to verso and a couple of isolated and minor instances of rubbing to top edge. An excellent copy.
