(London: Lovat Dickson 1934). First UK Edition. SIGNED & INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR IN THE YEAR OF PUBLICATION. Publisher's green boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Spine slightly faded and marked in places otherwise VG indeed. Inscribed by the Author to the front free end-paper: "For Herman:/ with love & a request/ for indulgence ---/ from/ Henry/ Feb. '34'". The dustwrapper (designed by Lawrence Bradshaw) is in VG condition with creasing/minor wear at the head of the spine and with a small hole at the left-hand edge of the spine of the dustwrapper.
