Inscribed by Alan Sillitoe to the film director Karel Reisz and his wife: "love to Betsy and Karel, from Alan and Ruth, 14 April 1972" to the verso of front free endpaper. Sillitoe and Fainlight have also signed again at the head of their respective contributions. Number 227 of 300 copies signed by the authors. A fine copy in matching slipcase.
