First edition, first impression, signed by the photographer on the title page; limited to 350 copies, numbered on the front cover and the first page of text 064/350. In June 1968, Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated in California. Fusco accompanied the funeral train which carried the coffin from New York City to Washington DC and photographed those paying respect by the track. Kennedy's coffin was placed in the last carriage and was visible through large observation windows. Parr & Badger II, p. 46. Landscape octavo. Illustrated throughout with 68 full-page xerographs by Fusco printed on a Xerox DocuColor 100 Digital Colour Press (with one of nine different front covers).
