Inscribed by the author, 'To Gleeson White, with friendly remembrances, from William Sharp', and with a blank leaf tipped on to verso of upper wrapper, inscribed by Gleeson White, 'From the author' and '72, Inverness Terrace, Kensington Gardens, London. W.' Wrappers slightly soiled, lacking spine, upper wrapper largely detached, else a good, sound copy in cloth chemise and calf-backed slipcase by Jacques Desmonts, spine lettered in gilt. 72 Inverness Terrace was the address of Sharp's mother-in-law.
